Redetermination of trans-cyclohexane-1,4-diammonium dichloride
A redetermination of the crystal structure of the title compound, C(6)H(16)N(2) (2+)·2Cl(-), was undertaken. All atomic coordinates including those of the H atoms were refined freely. The cation is located on a centre of symmetry. Important for the crystal structure are wavy hydrogen-bonded layers that are formed by ammonium groups and chloride anions, giving hydrogen-bonded rings.
متن کاملtrans-Diaquabis(cyclohexane-1,2-diamine)zinc(II) dichloride
In the title compound, [Zn(C(6)H(14)N(2))(2)(H(2)O)(2)]Cl(2), the Zn(II) atom resides on a special position with site symmetry 2/m and is octa-hedrally coordinated by four N atoms from two trans 1,2-diamino-cyclo-hexane ligands and two water O atoms. In the crystal, N-H⋯Cl and O-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into a two-dimensional network parallel to the bc plane.
متن کاملRelevance of cis- and trans-dichloride Ru intermediates in Grubbs-II olefin metathesis catalysis (H2IMesCl2Ru=CHR).
Using density functional theory with the B3LYP and M06 functionals, we show conclusively that the (H(2)IMes)(Cl)(2)Ru olefin metathesis mechanism is bottom-bound with the chlorides remaining trans throughout the reaction, thus attempts to effect diastereo- and enantioselectivity should focus on manipulations that maintain the trans-dichloro Ru geometry.
متن کاملBiguanidinium dichloride
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(2)H(9)N(5) (2+)·2Cl(-), is composed of one diprotonated biguanidinium cation and two chloride anions. The diprotonated cation consists of two planar halves twisted by 36.42 (6)°. The ions are associated in the crystal structure by extensive hydrogen bonding into a three-dimensional network; the diprotonated biguanidinium cation is hydrogen bonded to ...
متن کاملEthylenediammonium dichloride
The title ionic compound, C(2)H(10)N(2) (2+)·2Cl(-), crystallizes with a center of symmetry within the cation. Each of the positively charged ammonium ends of the mol-ecule is trigonally hydrogen bonded to three different chloride counter-ions, while each of the chloride ions is trigonally hydrogen bonded to three different ethyl-enediammonium cations. The hydrogen-bonding network leads to stab...
